products: the quality standard is the basis for all decisions taken in the company, which in the meantime is run in the fourth generation. Only then, when these standards are fulfilled, may a product leave the house and bear the brand Credo.
Inventiveness, ingenuity, the courage to take risks and a mentality to be open for changes are characteristics that constitute the more than 90-year old tradition of Credo: Credo was the inventor of the can-opener and corn cutters at a time when the company was active in both, the household and beauty section. By focusing on the beauty segment, the company consolidated its reputation as world-renowned manufacturer of pedicure instruments. Another patent for a safety corn-cutter improved the characteristics of the otherwise mature standard corn-cutter, which has meanwhile been produced millions of times. It was once again the pioneering spirit and the willingness of the current management to take risks that brought color to the bathrooms with the introduction of the POP ART design. This design underlines the uniqueness of the Credo products for pedicure and manicure instruments.
The pillars of the business are formed by the many thousands of podiatrists and foot-care specialists on the one side as well as loyal customers in retail and wholesale business on the other side. Every day, thousands of professional podiatrists open the small boxes, bearing the Credo logo of the millionfold sold corn-cutter blades, making an invaluable contribution to the preservation and creation of the Credo brand in Germany and more than 60 countries worldwide. Drugstores, beauty salons, pharmacies, department stores, perfumeries and online retail are the second strong pillar of the company.
